Cleanest Town Competition
The cleanest town competition took place in Kenhardt and was hosted by the Executive Mayor of Siyanda, Mrs. ZS Mjila.
The Executive Mayor in her address indicated the importance of keeping our communities clean and that this clean town campaign is intended to make communities aware that they need to keep their living environments clean.
The following towns were awarded prizes:
In the category Medium Town:
1st prize- Kenhardt
2nd prize- Danielskuil
3rd prize- Groblershoop
In the category Small Town:
1st prize- Louievaledorp
2nd prize- Raaswater
3rd prize- Vredesvallei
In the category Cleanest garage
1st prize- Engen Steers (Upington)
2nd prize- All stop BP (Groblershoop)
3rd prize- Gordonia Motors BP Garage (Upington)
3rd prize- Tsantsabane Excell
